Mark Zuckerberg taunted Balloon Google Internet

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg when listening to a reporter's question in a question and answer session workshop Mobile Developer Efficiency Workshop in Jakarta, Monday (10/13/2014)
Mark Zuckerberg mocking Google's plans to expand the range of high-speed internet using a balloon. According to Facebook's boss, the balloon is unreasonable plan.

Google does have Loons Project aims to spread Internet access using a hot air balloon. Projects like science fiction has been started since June 2013.

"People like to talk things like that because it looks sexy. It was not at all cover the real work is being done. Currently, 90 percent of people in the world already live in a telecommunications network coverage," he said at the Mobile World Congress 2015, Barcelona.

Rather than relying on his Project Loon Google that uses a balloon, according to Zuckerberg, is better when using ordinary technology and the things that are currently being used by the telecom operators.

Zuckerberg said, people will connect to the internet via telecommunication service provider.

But on the other hand, the words are in line with Internet.org effort to bring Internet access to people who have difficulties encountered during the access point.

His first step is to build telecommunications infrastructure operators for new customers, then customers will be searching the internet data packets better and profitable. "It's a model that is equally beneficial for our colleagues," said Zuckerberg.

He also added that the operator does not need to be afraid of customers to switch to the free service. "The response from our colleagues showed that there are many people who begin to use data services. People also began to use more voice and SMS services, to be willing to pay more," he said Facebook's boss.

"We have seen many cases which show that the ARPU (average revenue per user) increased. Even in a country like Colombia where people have been connected to the Internet," he claims.
